Dunkelblaulila und Ornamente

Schönen guten Abend :)
Heute habe ich noch ein Design für euch, dessen Titel deutlich mehr verspricht als was tatsächlich zu sehen ist :D Ich durfte meiner Freundin die Nägel anpinseln und eigentlich wollte sie was komplett anderes... Das Problem: Die Stamping-Schablone wollte und wollte einfach nicht und ich bin völlig verzweifelt. Deswegen wurde umgelenkt auf ein anderes Design und nachdem das auch nicht so recht klappen wollte, haben wir eben das Beste draus gemacht...

Today I've also got a design for you, who's title promises a lot more than how it really looks :D I painted my friend's nails and she actually wanted something completely different... The problem: The stamping plate didn't want and I became desperate. That's why we chose something else and as this also didn't want to turn out the way I wanted to, we finally made the best out of it...

Au man... Naja, je länger ich es mir anschaue, desto mehr geht's eigentlich. Aber ich bin nicht wirklich zufrieden, zumal ich weiß, dass es nicht das ist was es werden sollte...
Den Grundlack hat sie übrigens selbst mitgebracht.

Oh dear... Well, the longer I look at it the more I think it's okay. But I'm not really satisfied, also because I know that this isn't what it should have been...
The base colour did she bring by herself.

[Swatch] essence magnetics - 03 Magic wand!

Gestern hat mein Internet gestreikt, deswegen kommt der Swatch erst heute.
Eine Zeit lang war er mein Lieblingslack, deswegen möchte ich euch heute 03 Magic wand! von essence magnetics vorstellen.

Yesterday my internet didn't seem to like me, so the swatch's on here today.
For some time this was my favourite polish, so I'll introduce now: 03 Magic wand! from essence magnetics.

Das Fläschchen enthält 8ml und hat mich 1,99€ gekostet.
Die Farbe ist ein silbriges Rosa mit Metallic-Finish, d.h. es sind auch noch Pinselstreifen zu sehen.
Der Auftrag war sehr schön gleichmäßig und der Lack hat eine angenehme Konsistenz.
Die Deckkraft ist ebenfalls klasse, wie die meisten Metallic-Lacke deckt auch dieser hier in einer Schicht.
Die Trockenzeit war auch noch richtig schnell, was ihn bei mir auch so beliebt gemacht hat.

A bottle contains 8ml and costs 1,99€.
The colour is a silverish rose with metallic finish, i.e. there are obvious brushstrokes.
The application was nice, regular and the polish's consistency is good.
The opacity is - like most metallic polish - also great, there's only one coat needed for 100%.
The drying time was really fast, what made this polish probably one of my favourites.

Glücklicherweise ist MW nicht vom Abverkauf betroffen und darf auch noch weiter im Sortiment bleiben, denn die Qualität ist (trotz der bei Metallic-Lacken üblichen, leider recht kurzen Haltbarkeit) wirklich nicht schlecht und die Farbe finde ich persönlich einfach toll :)
Kaufempfehlung: 90%

Fortunately MW doesn't take part in the sale and may stay in the stock, because the quality is (apart from the usual short wear) really not bad and I personally love the colour :)
Buy recommendation: 90%

[Swatch] [b]asic - Nr. 90

Und nochmal Hallo an euch :)
In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass ich grade in meinem Archiv zwei Swatch-Bilder gefunden habe, die ich euch noch nicht gezeigt habe, hole ich das gleich mal nach. Den Anfang macht Nr. 90 von der leider nicht mehr erhältlichen Marke [b]asic.

As I just found two swatch pics in my archive, which I haven't presented to you yet, I'm going on with those. The first one is Nr. 90 from the (unfortunately no longer available) brand [b]asic.

Das Fläschchen enthält 7ml und ich weiß leider nicht mehr genau wieviel es mich gekostet hat, aber ich glaube es war so um die 1,90€.
Die Farbe ist ein klassisches Dunkelblau mit Schimmer-Finish, das man von vielen Marken findet.
Der Auftrag war sehr schön und gleichmäßig, auch dieser Lack ist weder zu fest noch zu flüssig.
Die Deckkraft liegt mit zwei Schichten voll im Durchschnitt (Dass man auf dem Foto am Mittelfinger noch meine Nagelspitze durchsieht, liegt nur daran, dass es schon älter ist und ich noch nicht gleichmäßig lackieren konnte :P); man sieht keine Pinselstriche mehr.
Die Trockenzeit war ebenfalls okay, nicht bemerkenswert kurz aber auch nicht zu lang.

A bottle contains 7ml and I don't know exactly how much I paid, but I think it was around 1,90€.
The colour is a classic dark blue with shimmer finish that you find from many brands.
The application was nice and regular, this polish also is neither too liquid nor too sticky.
The opacity is reached fully by applying two coats (That one can see my tips on the photo is because it's already quite old and I didn't know how to apply polish evenly :P); there are no brushstrokes to be seen.
The drying time was also okay, neither remarkable short nor too long.

Mir gefallen die Farbe und der schöne Schimmer-Effekt sehr gut, besonders in der Sonne kommt der Lack toll rüber. Aber wie schon geschrieben - Diese Art findet man überall, deswegen ist der Lack auch nicht umbedingt was besonderes.
Kaufempfehlung fällt weg, da Schlecker leider nicht mehr existiert.

I like the bolour and the beautiful shimmer, especially in the sun this looks great. But as already written - That kind of polish can be found everywhere, so this one's not special.
Buy recommendation has to be left out here because Schlecker doesn't exist anymore.

[Swatch] H&M - Antique Gold

Hallo da draußen :)
Es geht mit noch einem Swatch weiter - Diesmal die Farbe Antique Gold von H&M.

And here's a swatch again - This time Antique Gold from H&M.

Ein Fläschchen enthält 8ml und hat mich 1€ gekostet (war allerdings reduziert - Der normale Preis liegt bei 1,95€).
Die Farbe ist keine Klare hier, es sind grüngoldene Glitzerteilchen in einer gräulichen Basis - Das Finish ist dementsprechend auch glitzerig.
Der Auftrag war trotz des eher schmalen Pinsels recht schön, die Konsistenz des Lackes ebenso. Nicht zu flüssig und nicht zu klebrig.
Die Deckkraft ist dagegen nicht so umwerfend, man braucht schon drei Schichten für 100%ige Deckkraft; wenn man ihn über einer ähnlichen Basisfarbe aufträgt reichen zwei.
Die Trockenzeit war ebenso nicht so gut - Schon eine Schicht hat recht lange gedauert.

A bottle contains 8ml and I got it for 1€ (yet I bought it at a reduced price - the usual one is 1,95€).
The colour is not plain here, there is greengolden glitter in a greyish base. Therefore the finish is also glittery.
The application was nice though the brush is quite narrow. The consistency of the polish is good, neither too liquid nor to sticky.
The opacity isn't that good, one needs three coats for 100%. Or one applies it over a similar base colour, then two coats are okay.
The drying time also wasn't great - One coat took quite a long time.

Die Farbe gefällt mir eigentlich schon sehr gut und wird ihrem Namen auch gerecht, es sieht wirklich aus wie antikes Gold. Trotzdem stört mich die Kombination aus schlechter Deckkraft und langer Trockenzeit.
Kaufempfehlung: 40%

The colour actually pleases me and it really does justice to its name, it really lookes like antique gold. Yet I don't like the combination of bad opacity and long drying time.
Buy recommendation: 40%

Besitzt ihr einen vergleichbaren Lack mit besseren Eigenschaften? :)
Do you own a similar polish with better attributes? :)

[Swatch] Catrice - 680 Khaki Perry

Hallo zusammen :)
Heute habe ich mal wieder einen Swatch für euch. Diesmal nichts aus einer LE, sondern dem Standardsortiment von Catrice. Es handelt sich um die Farbe 680 Khaki Perry.

Today I've got a swatch for you. This time no LE polish, but one of the standard range of Catrice. It's the colour 680 Khaki Perry.

Ein Fläschchen enthält wie üblich 10ml und kostet 2,45€.
Die Farbe ist ein silbriges Grüngrau mit leicht goldenem Schimmer-Finish, man sieht allerdings die Pinselstreifen noch leicht.
Der Auftrag war schön, der Lack ist recht flüssig (aber zum Glück nicht so flüssig, dass er verläuft) und lässt sich dadurch gut verteilen. Bei meiner Flasche war sogar noch der alte, kleinere Pinsel dran - Keine Ahnung, ob ich da eine ältere Version erwischt habe, oder ob Catrice das nicht umgestellt hat.
An der Deckkraft gibt's nichts auszusetzen, nach einer Schicht ist KP schon perfekt deckend.
Und zusammen mit der Trockenzeit, die ebenfalls ziemlich gut war, ist das ein Lack für "Schnell mal zwischendurch lackieren" :)

The colour is some silverish green-grey with a slightly golden shimmer finish and almost no obvious brushtrokes.
The application was nice, the polish is quite liquid (fortunately not too liquid) so it spreads well. In my bottle there was still the old, smaller brush - Don't know if I got an older bottle or if Catrice just didn't change it.
The opacity is really good, I only needed one coat for full opacity.
The drying time is quite fast, so this one's a polish for "colour and go" :)

Die Farbe gefällt mir richtig gut, muss ich sagen, auch wenn ich hier wieder beim Kauf sehr skeptisch war... Dürfte sich aufgrund seiner Deckkraft auch gut zum Stampen eignen, mal ausprobieren :)
Wem die Farbe gefällt, dem würde ich aufgrund der recht erfreulichen Eigenschaften zu 90% eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen ;)

I really like the colour though I was a little sceptical while buying it... Because of its opacity this one should be quite good for stamping. I'll have to try :)
To those who like the colour, I would give a 90% buy recommendation because of it's good attributes ;)

Mermaid Nails [+ Tutorial]

Hallo zusammen :)
Schnee, Schnee, Schnee! Seit gestern schneit es ununterbrochen hier :) Also wäre jetzt eigentlich ein Schneeflocken-Design angebracht, aber irgendwie ist es dann doch was anderes geworden - Mermaid Nails.

Snow, snow, snow! Since yesterday it keeps on snowing here :) So actually a snowflake design would fit better than what acctually came out today - Mermaid nails.

Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen: Es gefällt mir nicht besonders. Viel zu durcheinander, unordentlich und erkennen kann man's auch nicht. Wirkt eher wie ein zufälliges Punkte-Design... Was soll's. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich davon gleich mal ein Tutorial gemacht und unten angehängt :)

To be honest: I don't like this one. Far too messy and one can't even realize the sense behind it. It actually looks more like some random dot design... Whatever. Nevertheless I made a tutorial of this design :)

TUTORIAL

1) Mit einer Grundfarbe beginnen
2) Mit ~6 Farben (incl. Grundfarbe) an der Nagelspitze Punkte setzen, die sich leicht überlappen
3) Weiter fortführen über den gesamten Nagel
4) Topcoat - Und fertig :)

1) Start off with a base colour
2) Place overlapping dots at your tip by using around 6 colours (incl. base colour)
3) Continue until your whole nail is covered with dots
4) Topcaot - And you're fnished :)

Jeden Sonntag werde ich (so oft es geht) einen Lack für euch reviewen (Sch... Denglisch ^^).
Den Anfang macht "C06 On The Bright Side Of Life" aus der aktuellen NEONaturals LE von Catrice.

Today I will start a campaign from which I havent heard yet or in which I'll take part now if it already exists :P The swatch-sunday!
Each Sunday (as often as possible) I'll review a polish for you.
The beginner is "C06 On The Bright Side Of Life" of the current NEONaturals LE from Catrice.

Das Fläschchen enthält 10ml und ist für den für Catrice normalen Preis von 2,45€ zu haben.
Die Farbe ist ein tiefes Violett, das zwar nicht richtig dunkel ist, aber irgendwie die Farbe verschluckt... Schwer zu beschreiben. Mit Jelly-Finish.
Der Auftrag ist in Ordnung, die Farbe lässt sich etwas schwierig verteilen, deshalb sieht man auch am Rand, wo mehr und weniger Farbe ist.
Die Deckkraft war erstaunlich schwach, ich habe 3 Schichten gebraucht, die auch nicht allzu dünn waren.
Dafür ist die Trockenzeit recht gut, wenn man's mit der Dicke der Schichten nicht übertreibt, geht's ziemlich schnell.

The bottle contains 10ml and can be bought at the regular price of Catrice 2,45€.
The colour is a deep violet which actually isn't that dark but it absorbs the colour somehow... Hard to discribe. With a jelly finish.
The application is okay, yet the colour spreads a bit hard so you can see at cuticle where there is much colour or less.
The opacity was not that good, I needed 3 thicker coats for full opacity.
Yet the drying time was quite short if the coats were not too thick.

Mal abgesehen von der Unregelmäßigkeit am Rand gefällt mir der Lack ganz gut... Ich trage nur recht wenig, was zu Lila passt, deswegen wird er vermutlich nicht in meine Favoriten aufgenommen werden ;)
Kaufempfehlung: 70%

Apart from the irregularity I quite like the polish... Yet I normally don't wear clothes that would fit a purple polish. So this one probably won't be one of my favourites ;)
Buy recommendation: 70%
