eine kleine Ausnahme mache ich doch: Es hat nämlich endlich jemand mal meine "Challenge me!"-Seite kommentiert! Gewünscht wurde ein Leo-Muster oder die Minions.

Tigerfalter

Hallo zusammen und...
Hello out there and...

... dass es hier so lange nichts mehr zu sehen gab. Zwei Wochen Singapur (die übrigens wunderbar waren) und jetzt fängt auch der Abistress an... In diesem Sinne: Entschuldigung. Aber jetzt geht's weiter.
... for that it's been quiet here for such a long time. Two weeks in Singapore (which was really cool) and now the final exams are coming... Well: Sorry. But now, it's going on.

Das erste, was ich für euch habe, ist ein Design, das ich "Tigerfalter" getauft habe - Weil ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte, ob es mich an einen Tiger oder einen Schmetterling erinnert :)
The first thing I have for you is a design I called "Tiger butterfly" because I couldn't decide whether it reminds me of a tiger or a butterfly :)

Auch wenn es eigentlich nicht so geplant war, gefällt es mir doch im Nachhinein ganz gut :)
Though it wasn't planned to turn out like this, I quite like it :)

Gewöhnungsbedürftige Gold-Schwarze Tribals

Hallo da draußen!
Heute habe ich ein Design für euch, das schon länger durch mein Fotoarchiv schwirrt, bei dem ich mir aber nicht sicher war, ob ich das wirklich zeigen will... Ich habe aber beschlossen, ich tu's jetzt doch mal.

Hello people!
Today I've got a design for you which has been in my photo archive for quite some time now because I wasn't sure about whether to show it to you or not... But now I decided to go for it.

Basisfarbe (mir fehlen Bilder und es sind nicht so viele) war ein Neuerwerb von Catrice: "840 Genius In The Bottle", die schwarzen Muster sind mit essence "144 Black is back" gezeichnet.
Ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt nicht entscheiden, was ich davon nun halten soll. Auf der einen Seite, jaa ist's ganz nett, aber auf der anderen Seite denke ich mir, was genau habe ich da gemacht? :D

Base colour (I didn't take a photo and there are not many polish) was a newly bought one from Catrice: "840 Genius In The Bottle". The black patterns are drawn with essence "144 Black is back".
I actually can't decide whether I like this one or not. On the one hand, okay it's nice, but on the other hand I think what the hell did I draw there? :D

Marmorne Tribal Nails

Das nächste Design hier gefällt mir wieder besser als das vorherige. Diesmal an einer anderen Freundin... Es war zwar ursprünglich auch nicht so geplant, ist aber im Endeffekt doch ganz interessant geworden :)

The next design here is one I like better than the previous. This time the nails of another friend... This actually was also not planned, yet it turned out quite interesting :)

Die Bezeichnung "Marmor" stammt übrigens von meiner Freundin für die Frischhaltefolientechnik ;)
Und wie schon gesagt, das hier gefällt mir recht gut. Ist an mein Challenge-Tribal Design angelehnt.

The term "marmor" comes incidentally from my friend for the cling wrap technique ;)
And, as already written, I quite like this. It's actually based on my challenge tribal design.

Dunkelblaulila und Ornamente

Schönen guten Abend :)
Heute habe ich noch ein Design für euch, dessen Titel deutlich mehr verspricht als was tatsächlich zu sehen ist :D Ich durfte meiner Freundin die Nägel anpinseln und eigentlich wollte sie was komplett anderes... Das Problem: Die Stamping-Schablone wollte und wollte einfach nicht und ich bin völlig verzweifelt. Deswegen wurde umgelenkt auf ein anderes Design und nachdem das auch nicht so recht klappen wollte, haben wir eben das Beste draus gemacht...

Today I've also got a design for you, who's title promises a lot more than how it really looks :D I painted my friend's nails and she actually wanted something completely different... The problem: The stamping plate didn't want and I became desperate. That's why we chose something else and as this also didn't want to turn out the way I wanted to, we finally made the best out of it...

Au man... Naja, je länger ich es mir anschaue, desto mehr geht's eigentlich. Aber ich bin nicht wirklich zufrieden, zumal ich weiß, dass es nicht das ist was es werden sollte...
Den Grundlack hat sie übrigens selbst mitgebracht.

Oh dear... Well, the longer I look at it the more I think it's okay. But I'm not really satisfied, also because I know that this isn't what it should have been...
The base colour did she bring by herself.

Day 31: New Years Theme

Es ist geschafft - Ein Jahr ist rum. Und diese Challenge hier auch. Beides ging zu schnell vorbei... Als Abschluss ein Neujahrsdesign mit viel Glitzer und ansonsten nicht viel Spektakulärem :D

It's done - A year's over again. And also this challenge. Both went too fast... So, last but not least, here's a new years design with a lot of glitter and nothing else spectacular :D

Es sieht in Realität besser aus... Das Licht war heute mal wieder ziemlich mies. Ich muss mir auch endlich mal 'ne Lightbox basteln ^^

Day 30: Food theme

Jessie hat heute richtig süße Erdbeer-Nägel gemacht :) Und weil mir die so gut gefallen, dachte ich mir 1. probiere ich mal ihr Tutorial aus und 2. nehme ich Früchte als heutiges Thema. Die Wassermelone war vielleicht kompliziert, der blöde grüne Lack wollte einfach nicht decken geschweige denn trocknen...

Jessie did some super cute strawberry nails today :) And because I like them so much I decided to 1. try her tutorial and 2. take fruits as today's theme. The watermelon was really complicated to do as the green polish absolutely did neither want to cover nor to dry...

Aber das Resultat gefällt mir dennoch recht gut... Ist bestimmt auch ein schönes Motiv im Sommer - Wie auf Bestellung schien nämlich heute auch schön die Sonne (nachdem es heftigt geschüttet hatte...) :)

Yet I quite like the result... It's probably a nice motive for summer, too. The sun must also have thought this as it shone bright today (after it had rained a lot...) :)

Leider muss ich zugeben bzw. feststellen, dass meine Idee nicht allzu großartig war. Eine Münze, einen Schein und der Rest "von Geld übersät"... Naja, was soll's. Geld ist eben nicht alles :P

Unfortunately I have to admit or determine that today's idea wasn't that great. One coin, one bill and the rest "covered in money"... Well, doesn't matter. Money's not everything :P

Ehrlich gesagt könnte ich mir die Punkt-Nägel ganz gut für Silvester vorstellen... Dann war's ja doch zu was nütze :D

I actually can imagine the dotted nails are great for new year's eve... So it was at least a use for something :D

Für heute ist mir nur das typische Bleistift-Design eingefallen... Irgendjemand hatte dazu mal ein gutes Tutorial, aber ich find's einfach nicht wieder. Naja, ich denke man kann sich's auch so erschließen wie das geht ;)
Apropos Tutorial, wollt ihr eigentlich von einem Design mal ein Tutorial haben? Wenn ja, meldet euch einfach per Kommentar :)

For today I could only think of the typical pencil nailart... Someone had a really great tutorial for this, but I can't find it anymore. Well, one can probably imagine how it was done ;)

Day 27: Movie theme

Als großer Herr der Ringe-Fan fiel die Wahl diesmal nicht allzu schwer - Ein Ring, sie zu knechten, sie alle zu finden, ins Dunkel zu treiben und ewig zu binden!

As a real lord of the rings fan the choice wasn't hard today - One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. 

Die Inschrift ist leider nicht so gut geworden, wie ich mir erhofft hatte... Irgendwie war mein Pinsel heute komisch. Naja, aber im Grunde kann man schon erkennen, was ich wollte :D

The inscription didn't turn out as good as I thought... My brush didn't work the way I wanted today. Well, but one can see what I meant I hope :D

Heute habe ich einfach mal auf gut Glück losgepinselt und alles auf meine Nägel gebracht, was mir so eingefallen ist - Was leider nicht sehr viel war :P

Today I just started randomly and brought anything on my nails that was on my mind - Unfortunately that wasn't very special :P

Bis auf die goldenen Punkte am kleinen Finger ist's aber doch recht gut geworden, finde ich...

Apart from the golden dots on the pinky it looks quite okay I think...

Take Two - Day 24: Birthday theme

Unpassenderweise gibt's die Weihnachts-Challenge erst morgen, obwohl's hier schon heute die Geschenke gibt. Aber meine Tante hat heute Geburtstag, insofern passt's dann doch wieder ^^

Incongruously the christmas challenge is for tomorrow, yet here in Germany we're celebrating today. But it's my aunt's birthday so it fits at least in some way ^^

Day 24: Birthday theme

Ich hab meine Nägel irgendwie demoliert... Offenbar zu viel Lack. Deshalb nicht wundern, in nächster Zeit wird's wohl einiges wieder auf Kunstnägeln geben.
Und das heutige Design ist so mit Glitzer überladen, dass man die Luftballons gar nicht mehr sieht :D

Somehow I seem to have damaged my nails... Maybe too much polish. So don't wonder, a few of the next designs will probably be done on falsies again.
And todays design is so overload with glitter that you can't see the balloons anymore :D

  
Mal abgesehen von dem üblichen Glitzer-Problem ist's aber ganz passend geworden :D

I'm really not up to date with catwalk fashion, so I just looked for some cute dresses and finally found one that would perfectly fit to a nail design :)

Ich schätze mal, es ist nicht allzu schwer zu erraten was meine Inspiration bzw. Emotion ist... Deswegen nicht viele Worte hierzu. Die anderen Designs bis zum 22. sind auch schon gemacht, ich muss sie nur noch posten. Nicht mal dazu findet man Zeit, man oh man.

I guess it's easy to find out about my inspiration / emotion for this design... So I'm not gonna say much about it. The other designs are also done and photopgraphed, I just need to post them. And one even doesn't find time to do that. Oh dear.

Sehr schönes Thema - Mein erster Versuch mit Gradient Nails ging leider in die Hose, also habe ich ein bisschen gestreift. Blöderweise ohne Tesafilm, deshalb sind die Linien jetzt recht unregelmäßig...

Quite a nice theme - Yet my first try (gradient nails) didn't turn out the way I wanted so I made stripes. Stupidly without Scotch Tape, so now the lines aren't very regular...

  
Arghs, der Fussel auf dem Tuch fällt mir erst jetzt auf :D Aber ansonsten passt's doch.

Oops, I haven't seen the fuzz on the scarf :D But for the rest it's okay.

Day 17: Match-your-outfit Nails

In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass ich heute bzw. generell im Winter nichts anderes anziehe als dunkle Jeans und Kapuzenpullis, habe ich mir die Freiheit genommen, eins meiner Outfits auf Lookbook.nu zu nehmen und dazu passende Nägel zu gestalten :)

As in winters I never wear anything else than dark jeans and hoodies, I allowed myself to take one of my outfits on lookbook.nu and to create nails fitting this one :)

Mit dem Daumen bin ich nicht unbedingt zufrieden, aber mir ist nichts anderes mehr eingefallen... Die restlichen Finger passen einigermaßen, finde ich :)

I don't really like my thumb, but I had no other idea... The rest of the fingers look allright I think :)

Take Two - Day 15: Inspired by a book

Gestern habe ich doch nicht so viel geschafft, wie ich wollte. Deshalb kommen heute wieder zwei Designs :)

As I didn't manage yesterday to do as much as I wanted, there will be two designs again today :)

Day 15: Inspired by a book

Ausgesucht habe ich mir "Die Schwester der Zuckermacherin", ein Roman aus dem mittelaterlichen London: Vor dem Hintergrund der Pest versuchen zwei junge Frauen, ihr Zuckerwaren-Geschäft aufrecht zu erhalten und den schwarzen Tod zu überstehen. Also habe ich einen schwarzen Hintergrund gewählt, und darauf symbolisch gezuckerte Rosen (nach dem ersten Teil dieses Tutorials) gemalt :)

I chose "At the sign of the sugared plum" a novel which plays in London at the Middle Ages: While London is plague-ridden two young women try to keep up their comfit-shop and to survive the black death. So I took a black for the background and painted roses with sugar on it (by following the first part of this tutorial) :)

Keine Ahnung, ob man die Rosen als solche erkennen kann, aber im Prinzip finde ich's doch ganz hübsch :)

No idea, if one can identify the roses as roses, but in principle it's quite nice :)

Jeder Nagel gleich wäre mir zu langweilig gewesen, außerdem konnte ich mich eh nicht für ein Motiv entscheiden. Deshalb ist's eine Skittle-Mani geworden, mit einem Raumschiff, zwei Alienköpfen, einer Galaxie und einem fremden Planeten (naja...).

Each nail the same was too boring and I couldn't decide which motive to choose, so I made a skittle manicure out of this one with a spaceship, two alien heads, a galaxy and a foreign planet (well...).

Irgendwie weiß ich nicht so ganz, was ich davon halten soll :D Aber schlecht finde ich's nicht.

Somehow i don't know what to think of that :D But I don't think it's bad.

Lange rumüberlegt, welches Gemälde ich nehmen soll... Aber in Anbetracht der Zeit war ich faul und habe mir ein Einfaches aus dem Internet rausgesucht - *klick* - und es als Inspiration für ein Skittle-Streifen-Design genommen :)

Many thoughts about which artwork to choose... Yet as I didn't have that much time, I was lazy and chose a simple one from the internet - *click* - as an inspiration for a skittle-striped-design :)

War ganz einfach und schnell zu machen und ich find's eigentlich auch ganz süß :)

This one was easy and fast and I actually think it's kinda cute :)
